Do I need a special license to drive a pontoon?

Alabama law does not require a special license for driving pontoon boats. However, anyone renting a pontoon boat with Island Cruizer Boats must be 21+ to rent. Anyone driving the boat must be at least 18 years old.

Can we fish from the pontoon?

Fishing is not permitted on our boats.

Can I bring my dog or pet on the boat?

Animals are not permitted on the boats.

What should we bring on the boat?

• Valid driver’s license and credit card.
• Sun essentials (hats, sunscreen, towels).
• Drinking water and snacks (snacks and coolers are allowed on the boats).

We provide a cooler, a float mat, and a bag of ice for you!

Can I smoke on the boat?

Smoking is prohibited on all boats.

How many people are allowed on the boat?

Each boat has a standard capacity rating of up to 12 people, depending on the boat you rent.

Is gas included in the rental?

No, gas is not included. There is a $75 upfront fee for gas, or you can fill up at the pump before returning the boat. Please note that gas pumps usually close at 5:45 p.m. We do not make money on gas!
